SchoolBots

 

Robot modifications allowed until 15th Feburary 2009.

 

Competitors may submit a modified robot, if no modified robot is received before the 15th February 2009 then the original entry will be your schools valid entry. If a robot is received before the deadline it will be your schools entry. (Only one robot per school).

Modified robots should be sent to schoolbots@tippinst.ie

Closing date for the receipt of modified robots is 15th February  2009.

No modification accepted after this date.

 

Congratulations to the eight teams that qualified for the national finals of Schoolbots 2009. The eight teams that qualified are listed below.

The schoolbots final will take place on March 12th 2009 as part of Tipperary Institutes Games Fleadh 2009, which is Ireland's largest computer console programming festival.

The following schools will be participating in the schoolbots  competition qualifing round in the Tipperary Institute Thurles campus on Tuesday 13th January 2009.

Competition commences at 11:00 hrs. Please arrive at 10:40 hrs for registration.

All participants to receive schoolbots merchandise.

All participating schools will be notified via email.

The source code for the two sentry robots and the radar robots.

There are a limited number of places available on the teacher's workshop which will take place on Thursday Oct 23rd from 11.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m in the Thurles Campus.
